Referring Safety Net Clinics

Safety Net Clinics are the access points into Project Access. This ensures patients have a primary care provider, and care coordination, while being treated by a volunteer specialist.
Safety Net Clinics located throughout Portland provide referral coordination for their project access patients.
Safety Net Access Points
- Children’s Community Clinic provides high quality, compassionate health care for children being underserved (uninsured/underinsured), regardless of ethnicity or ability to pay.
- Mercy & Wisdom Healing Center provides primary natural health care services to the community, especially to the medically underserved population with low income and no insurance, and also serves as an educational institute to teach the public how to achieve and maintain health physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. We are providing health care with compassion, honoring the healing power of nature and love.
- NARA Indian Health Clinic provides education, physical and mental health services and substance abuse treatment that is culturally appropriate to American Indians, Alaska Natives and other vulnerable people.
- National College of Natural Medicine Community Clinics The College’s mission is to educate and train physicians and practitioners in the art and science of natural medicine.
- North By Northeast Community Health Center To improve health outcomes in a medically under-served community by offering health screening and basic medical services at no cost. Priority is given to low-income individuals without health insurance living in the surrounding inner N/NE neighborhoods.
- Old Town Clinic The Mission of Central City Concern is to provide pathways to self-sufficiency through active intervention in poverty and homelessness.
- Outside In Medical Clinic Outside In addresses the changing needs of homeless youth and other low-income and marginalized people as they work toward self-sufficiency and improved health by providing them innovative social, medical and mental health services and material resources.
- PACS Family Health Center Portland Adventist Community Services follows Christ’s example in nourishing body, mind and spirit. We are committed to being an avenue of God’s love and care as we foster dignity among those we serve.
- Rosewood Family Health Center To improve the quality of life for the underserved people of Oregon as we work to strengthen the health of our community.
- Southwest Community Health Center To assure quality health services to those lacking adequate resources to access necessary care. We do this by: * serving as a safety-net clinic that provides basic health services in a safe, reassuring and culturally sensitive environment; * providing referrals for necessary care that goes beyond our scope of services; * helping people with eligibility for health and pharmacy assistance programs; and * advocating for quality health care for all.
- Wallace Medical Concern The Wallace Medical Concern is a volunteer organization that provides neighborhood-based health care services and assistance to Portland-area residents who face barriers to care. Wallace has clinics in Portland and in Gresham, Oregon.
- West Burnside Chiropractic Clinic West Burnside Chiropractic is a teaching clinic of Western States Chiropractic College and our mission is education and service.
