Cara Biddlecom (she/her) is the Deputy Public Health Director for the Public Health Division at the Oregon Health Authority. In her role, Cara works with a talented and passionate team to build a cohesive governmental public health system, encompassing community-led work with local and Tribal public health authorities and community-based organizations. Cara’s role also includes developing and implementing statewide and cross-sector plans to build equity and address the social determinants of health and developing and implementing public health legislative and budget priorities.
Cara holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina Gillings School of Global Public Health.
In her spare time, Cara loves to sing, cook, and spend time outdoors with her young children, partner, and pandemic pup.
