Phyusin Myint, PhD is a dedicated public servant, scholar, and health equity leader in the Oregon Public Health community. Dr. Myint is the Chief Health Equity and Community Impact Officer at Health Share of Oregon, the largest Coordinated Care Organization serving over 450,000 Oregonians in the Portland Metro Region. As a public health leader and researcher, Dr. Myint is committed to building partnerships that identify opportunities for system and policy changes, where everyone in the community has what they need to thrive- the agency to shape the policies and systems that impact their lives. Her commitment to building partnerships has resulted in system and policy changes that increased community access and allowed more Oregonians to influence policies affecting their lives. She serves on numerous review panels and advisory groups for institutions working to advance health equity, mobilize measurable community impact, and promote social change. As Past President of the Oregon Public Health Association (OPHA), Dr. Myint guided the statewide public health strategy and fostered collaborative efforts to reduce health disparities in Oregon during her five-year tenure on the elected board.
