Oregon faces disproportionate challenges with Medicaid and upcoming federal requirements—making collaboration essential to protect access for vulnerable communities.
In October, Project Access NOW convened 40+ leaders from Portland metro safety-net organizations to address critical gaps in health insurance and access to care. This week, we issued a report summarizing key findings from that convening, including:
* Anticipated policy and funding changes impacting safety-net programs
* Strategies for a coordinated response
* Offers and requests from participants
This work continues through follow-up meetings and operational planning, and we welcome any organization or community member to join our efforts.
