Introducing: Mark's Data Corner
Meet Mark, Project Access NOW's Reporting and Data Analyst. Each month, Mark will be sharing the most interesting piece of data he came across that month. Look forward to regular updates from Mark during future newsletters!
Below is a graph of Project Access NOW's spending on short term housing / hotel stays. When recovering from a surgery or other major medical intervention, it is important that individuals have an immediate place to stay. Project Access NOW also works with housing providers and home cleaning services to ensure individuals have safe and sanitary conditions long term. This intervention prevents infection or worsening of a condition and a return to the hospital or emergency room. As you can see from the data below, this service is frequently requested and has grown over the last four years.

"I have over 200 days of sobriety. This house has allowed me to focus on maintaining my sobriety while keeping a full time job. I have grown some real strong friendships with some women here. I'm very fortunate to be living here. This is a stepping stone towards a life of independence. I plan on living here till I am a year sober. After that I plan on finding an apartment, adopting a cat and living a wonderful life." - Lisa O.
